Had great day trip to Bristol Universty with daughter 2 , she seem to like the place but complaining it was too hilly and that from a girl born and breed in Yorkshire!

Nice to be back in the old homeland for a day and it was coincidental that Simon played Lene Lovich this week as I remember seeing the “Be Stiff” tour at Bristol Uni Student union back in 78 which featured Lene , Wreckless Eric and Jona Lewie and others.

Been busy packing everything including the kitchen sink (almost) in the car ready for an early morning train to France tomorrow.. two weeks in the Dordogne with the Mister and the Hound, can't wait :)

So a muggle got the ARFO this week - well done whoever it was! (I missed it).



Personally, I don't mind that it was a song that's been suggested before. The whole point is to get the nation celebrating the beginning of the weekend, andas far as I'm concerned ANY uplifting, dance round the kitchen, thump the steering wheel (or whatever) song will do that. We've had some reallhy good blogpoppet suggestions recently - let's not get too precious about this. If you don't like it, there's always the off switch...
