BTW, I picked "Take the Long way home" yesterday by Twitter but didn't get a mensh. nevermind, its being part of the the machine which keeps the show going which counts.





Love the show, the host, myself, the staff, the other blogpoppets, the mods, the tweeters, the browsers, the callers, the emailers, the face bookers, the ones that don't even know the show exists (shame on you)

What I don't understand is that CLP's blog is fine - they must be run on the same computer network, surely? It's such a shame - the great thing about this blog is the camaraderie and the, it has to be said, randomness of the conversations - it's what drew me to joining in the first place, rather than the choosing of the songs. And it isn't possible to have a discussion when you have to wait 20 minutes before your post appears, by which time six other people have posted on six other topics... I know the wombles are doing their best, but can't someone just go out to PC World (other computer outlets, etc.) and buy a new computer or something.



Okay, rant over. Nice weather we're having...

#40 Well said DeeBee - I completely agree (although you may have to wait for half an hour before you find this!) I don't always have an idea for a song, but I like to join in with the banter when I can, if all this pre-modding carries on for much longer, no one will bother with the blog, and I think that would be a shame!



Re. the weather, because it was cold and miserable here yesterday someone turned the heating up, so we're all now gently steaming and opening all the windows!

The technical team are aware of the problem, but it will take time to put a fix on it, but they are definitely working on it.

Long time no blog - regulars on CLP blog will know that I am now the Shanghai blog correspondent - not able to get back until 4th May (supposed to be back already ....). Still, here we are in a club room in a 5 star hotel with club lounge etc etc - why complain?



Unfortunately, Simon is on a bit too late for me to listen here... it is strange enough listening to CLP at 3pm....

Yeh Yeh for closer today? When Georgie Fame was in Grumpy Van's band he used to get to sing that and another tune or two with the band as a warm up before The Man walked onto the stage. So I've seen it sung live several times while never having really heard much other stuff by Georgie.
