Beate landed on the shores of Bournemouth from Germany when she was just seven years old. When she started school, she could barely speak any English. She met best friend Jan at school and they even worked together on the factory floor at Max Factor Company.
Multi-millionaire and entrepreneur, Beate has worked her way up from humble beginnings to owning and running the luxurious Dudsbury Golf Club Hotel and Spa, with her husband Dave. She has battled cancer twice and is now looking after Dave who has Parkinsons Disease.
Beate is happily married to Dave and has spent the past few years trying to help Jan in her quest for a husband. Beate has two children and three grandchildren.
