Dee

Born in Nottingham, Dee soon moved to London. She attended a variety of education establishments including a boarding school and a convent. She left school at 15 to work in a clothes shop and then had various jobs including a comptometer operator. She was married in 1952, but divorced 9 years later. Dee has two daughters and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dee worked at a counselling practice where she specialized in gender dysphoria. Dee moved to the coast about nine years ago which is when she met best friend Annie. Dee lives with her miniature pinscher, Maisie and is a regular gym goer.

Octogenarian Dee would love to find herself a man. She’s recently joined a dating website and doesn’t see why she shouldn’t be able to find a new partner in the next three months.

Despite her confident, larger than life persona, Dee hates being old and invisible – “People used to look at me when I walked down the street. Not any more...”
