Monty

A Yorkshire lad originally, Monty moved to the sunnier climes of Bournemouth some years ago. For the majority of his working life, he worked for his family’s construction business in Sheffield.

A keen pianist, after retiring Monty decided to pursue his musical dreams of forming an orchestra to celebrate his musical hero, Mantovani. Monty adores those cascading strings which made Mantovani so famous. Every 18 months, he puts on a hugely successful concert in Poole with a huge string orchestra and performs all the composer's classic pieces.

When he’s not tinkling those ivories, Monty can be found cycling along Bournemouth’s promenade or doing lengths at his local health club.
