Born in Oxfordshire, Annie was the youngest of 12 siblings. She left school at 16 with grand plans to become a hairdresser but ended up working in a local bakery. Here she worked her way up and soon became manager. She married her husband and moved to Chalfont-St-Giles where she had four children.
About 25 years ago, Annie and her husband decided to move to the seaside, but sadly he passed away 10 years ago.
Until eight years ago Annie enjoyed a quiet and peaceful life by the sea... But then she met her neighbour Dee. From clubbing at transvestite cabaret nights in Blackpool to cruises around the Canaries, the pair are now thick as thieves - Annie has become Dee’s dependable confidante and sidekick.
