Jan likes the finer things in life and loves nothing more than kicking back her heels and dancing the night away.
A local girl, Jan left school at 15 to work at the local Max Factor factory. From there she held various positions as a receptionist – she even worked for Beate’s husband Dave’s glass business and on the reception desk at Beate’s nursing home.
Beate and Jan have been best friends since they were seven years old, and regularly go on luxury holidays together to Florida and Spain. The two are inseparable and Jan regularly joins Beate and Dave for supper at the golf club.
She likes dating websites and regularly has offers from men but is yet to find the one. She’s fit as a fiddle and is always immaculately turned out.
Jan started practicing Iyengar yoga over forty years ago and regularly teaches to a group of retirees. Jan’s body is her temple, and never drinks any caffeine. She has two sons and several grandchildren.
