And I'm off again! To the wilds of High Wycombe this morning before turning round and heading back for a lovely drivetime. Also today a chat with Naomi Watts who stars in The Impossible, a movie about a family caught up in the tsunami of 2003. And to say it is a terrifying ordeal for the viewer, is an understatement. A more harrowing opening hour I am yet to see (with the exception of The Road; nothing beats that). She is quite something. Her character (it's a true story) is the mother of 3 boys and she has a comfortable opening 5 minutes before being washed away and having a nightmare 100 minutes. I left the screening exhausted.
So after Naomi, which we are recording for the movie show, it's all systems go for DT with Greg Wallace as our guest. Fruit and veg expert, writer and greengrocer, and Masterchef host. His book is Life on a Plate and he's on from 6 of course. And let's do FRUIT AND VEG oldies please. Consider it part of your 5-a-day.
Have a an ordered and controlled Tuesday, see you after 5.

Blimey, the length of time that has taken it wouldn't surprise me if this is one of the first posts for tomorrow's blog. I started this at about 9.20ish, don't know what's going on, my words (and all the typos/spelling errors I didn't realise I'd made!) are appearing about 5 minutes after I've typed them. So, given that, apologies to all of you I must by now have duplicated and good evening one and all!

STRAWBERRY WINE - Deana Carter
Went to see The Band Perry last night. Have to say they are VERY good at what they do, and unashamedly country. The performance is very much that and I guess intended for for arena size shows as I imagine they were playing much bigger places in the States when supporting (I think) Brad Paisley. The "how ya doing out there?" gets a bit wearing after a while and a couple of times I thought "just sing the song Kimberley!"
The youngsters lapped it all up though. Not sure how many of them would have been American students, but it was a very young audience who all knew the songs word for word. Good to see youngsters out enjoying live music that hasn't been generated by a reality TV show.

Mr Allinson and Mr Mayo were very patient with the shopping - they do make it go much more easily.
I've loved reading the puns - very funny..
I've just received an email of photos of vegs cut into animal shapes by 'chefs who are bored' and I'm trying to send it on but it won't work - just getting blank squares with a cross in the corner - any ideas from the techies out there?
