Went to see The Band Perry last night. Have to say they are VERY good at what they do, and unashamedly country. The performance is very much that and I guess intended for for arena size shows as I imagine they were playing much bigger places in the States when supporting (I think) Brad Paisley. The "how ya doing out there?" gets a bit wearing after a while and a couple of times I thought "just sing the song Kimberley!"



The youngsters lapped it all up though. Not sure how many of them would have been American students, but it was a very young audience who all knew the songs word for word. Good to see youngsters out enjoying live music that hasn't been generated by a reality TV show.

A remember speaking to an owner of a sea shore restaurant telling us 'ow she ran up the 'ill!!!!!!!!!!



The one thing about a tsunami... If your near the sea and you suddenly sea the sea retreat... strangely retreat/ go out in amatter of minutes.... instead of doing what most go aka 'ave a look!!!!!!!!!!



It's time ter go in the opposite direction FAST!!!!!!!!!



The sea always pulls itself out when a tidal surge is coming!!!!!!!
