Did anyone see the programme on BBC 3 about internet bullying last night? Really interesting, and rather disturbing too. These people go onto so-called 'RIP' sites on Facebook and post nasty things about the deceased - how sick is that. They also target celebrities - Richard Bacon who presented the programme has been a victim of 'trolls'. Quite horrifying.

Hmm, seems by looking back, that I am a tad premature with my search for the swallows. I've looked back in the archives (its always a good read!!) and found my three worder mensh from 2 years ago. First swallows spotted, or words to that effect.



Now that was on the 30th March, 'but' was on the Somerset coast, so a fair bit further north than where I am looking at the moment.....



I am sure I'll be back later with good news.

Chris d'Lacey will be visiting our son's school next week and since he wrote: The Last Dragon Chronicles series, so it seemed appropriate to mention it today. Our kid did read three of the books of the so far, six book series.



Flo, the virgin mensh comment cracked me up! It's a funny old mensh world here on the DT blog.



Nothing to add music wise today, so I'll be all ears to hear who offered what.



Passed about 6 flattened badgers along the country roads this morning. Could it be first day of spring badger rites of passage? Strange seeing so many in a short period of time and I felt bad for those little critters.

There's a good chance that you did Tortie, although I think the sand martins are the first to arrive. Apparently one or two have been spotted around here and quite a few have touched down (or not as the case may be) in Pembrokeshire.



Anyway, in the meantime, have certainly spotted many other different ducks, wading birds etc.. for the first time, during my patient wait. Have a gander (pardon the pun!) on my fb page. I know you saw the godwit, not sure if you have seen the earlier entries :)

It's quite Springy here too. The Botanic gardens in Cambridge have been looking gorgeous for a few weeks now. I went for a walk at lunchtime and there were people about in shirtsleeves. Although I think they must be a bit hardier than I am - there's still a bit of a chilly nip in the air, especially in the shade.

@ Florence - from last night/this morning – Meatballs!



We make our own Meatballs –



If we use beef we call them Meatballs. If we use lamb we call them Koftas. These are both rather good.



We don’t make Swedish Meatballs – we have tried but they weren’t authentic. So now we buy them. They are made using beef & pork & spices and I think it’s the spices that make them special. They come dry so we make a sauce of tinned tomatoes & Red Wine.



We don’t make Faggots either!

Were there any blogmenshes for Flying Lizards? Lots of you suggested it ........
