Yesterday while shopping the DT Dude tweeted that he had 'accidentally' wandered into the ladies lingerie section of a dept store...yes, righto.

I missed most of yesterday's show, popped in to see the m-in-law and give her some clothes I had been sent to buy and didn't get away with a quick visit - then didn't have to cook last night (my son did kung po beef, thai dumplings and rice - yes, I know how lucky I am) and the kitchen is where I hear the show (over the clanking chains tying me to the oven). Somehow the show wasn't right in any other room in the house!

Simon does seem to be spreading himself a bit thin, I mean he has Drivetime Mon - Fri, The film show on Five Live on Fridays, a book coming out soon and another in the works, plus now some TV work. All this on top of the unseen work that goes into making all his radio programmes, like researching guests and watching films for reviewing etc. It's not my place to fret though...And lord knows I'm not short of things to fret about as it is! ;D



I can't stop listening to all the tracks from Gotye's 'Making Mirrors' on Youtube, that album is a definite purchase for me next month.

So, I sat here, reading back, wondering what tv role could show off shoes to their best advantage....................

Maybe a quiz show of some sort... there was talk a while back of bringing his Radio 4 show 'Act Your Age' to TV. Anyways... we will all find out in due course.

I remembered that Simon did a sort of quiz show (based on a board game I think) called 'Scruples' in the late 80s.



I'm intrigued over what his new TV job might be - Deebee, didn't you mention that there was talk of 'Act Your Age' being made into a TV show? Not sure suits and nice shoes would be required for that kind of show though :-/
