Hi folks - thank you for the lovely welcomes back. I can't be here often...I have a few things to sort out between my ears, but I am at home for the day today, so a little light banter eh? I didn't look at yesterday's blog, but I'm guessing from comments that KatyMac needs a bit of a hug, so...............(KM now hugged in a virtual way). Wharfedalegas - excellent choices today! Sorry I missed your Trash Can pick. I've been indulging in my daily diet of Robert Wyatt ("Sea Song") and Blue Nile (Peace at Last) whilst monitoring the coffee and marshalling B&B Minimus, and wasting money on plants to wither in the garden. Now for some toast....then downhill all the way to Wimbledon.

Not at all. I like it when little nuggets like that stay in your head. My favourite one is Graham Le Saux, everytime I hear his name (which isn't too often these days) but I always say 'Ooooh Graham Le Saux, he played for Chelsea, didn't he?' that little nugget has impressed no end of peeps as I know very little about football. That sounds like an Uncle Bryn moment and I have to say, I'm not often given to them ;)

Hi Katy - hope you're doing okay? #64 B&BMinimus is a troubled teenage male with "relationship problems" and needs a lot of T&C, but is co-incidentally off school today cos of his asthma being ascerbated by hayfever. I wonder if I could be modded for saying "ascerbate"?

#68 the other interesting thing (these things fit together like jigsaw pieces) about Graham le Saux coming from the Channel Islands is that Matt le Tissier is (maybe?) the only other one big in the professional game, and they both have "le" in their surnames. I don't think this means that Matt le Blanc is from Guernsey though.

I do not believe it!!! The shop where Daughter currently works at weekends and holidays (which I'm tempted to name, except I'd probably get modded) has just told her that she has to work till midnight tonight as they're putting out new stock. Which would mean either Mr B or myself picking her up - a 20 mile all round trip. Totally unreasonable, and with my HR hat on I'm not even sure it's legal. It's not part of her contracted hours, plus they have a duty of care not to leave her in the middle of Cambridge, in the middle of the night, with no means of getting home. Grrr...
