.. if Simon knew how fantabuloso a real kedgeree [Indian Scottish fusion] was to make and eat - he *may* have chosen it as today's recipe.



I once auditioned for a cookery challenge show for ITV - cameras/interview in my kitchen, etc. Did a kedgeree in real time. As it happened, was unable to take part in the show because I became ill.

Re the kedgeree debate - I do a really nice salmon kedgeree. It's not authentic, I'm sure, but it is rather tasty. No sultanas feature, but the essential ingredient Simon missed out is curry powder.
