In fact it was a great album and the Hammersmith Apollo show on that tour was superb.

Now then I have a huge decision - what should I do next?



Sort out the Health and Safety forms I got back yesterday and update the staff records OR get a whole load of stuff ready for archive - the list really is as long as my arm - I've just measured it!



The only thing keeping me going is the thought of running with the big boys (aka the fast group) at running club tonight. It'll be my first time running with them on a Tuesday so I'm going to dip my toe to see how I get on. I'm feeling like a bit of a neglectful mother as I'm going running instead of taking the youngerGB to visit another of the local secondary schools; he's going with my friend and her son.



Right - ip dip dooooo the cat's got flooooo, the dog's got chicken pox, out goes yoooooo - looks like it's the Health and Safety malarkey. :(



Back to the grindstone - may stooop by later.

#85 I was going to suggest that one for the Yellow theme day. I think I was about 3 when the song was getting a lot of airplay. My little (as yet)unformed mind assumed that ticky tacky was the same as plasticene (other modelling clays etc etc) and I used to make little houses and sing the song to them. The simplicity of youth.



There you go Deevs - an idea for your bored times at work. You can make little houses out of ticky tacky!



Has anyone suggested "Roses are Red" by Jim Reeves or is that deserving of a large Dutch cheese with a red rind?

Little Boxes. I remember hearing it on All Time Family Favourites a lot as a child. When I heard it again, as an adult, I was astonished by it. I had never realised what a dark satirical swipe it was against the 'American Dream'. It made me look at what Pete Seeger had done. The man was a musical colossus.
