btw I agree about the meat in SA - When I was there I was taken to a brilliant restaurant in Pretoria which served mainly game (and in SA when they say game they mean BIG game) - I therefore had elephant, giraffe and acuda (sp) in various sauces.

#53 Very envious Deevs - I love Shakespeare. I saw Hamlet at an open air theatre a few years ago and that was great, very atmospheric as it was in the grounds of an old abbey.

Tortie - we "did" Hamlet back in March in Birmingham - it was a local production but for me it lost its "oomph" as the cast chose for a WW2 unform theme (guards dressed as Gestapo officers!) - it was kind of odd. The guy who played Hamlet was excellent though.



Macbeth at The Globe last week will take some beating ...... I'd love to go to the RSC at Stratford Upon Avon though.



Today is really dragging - probably because of going out tonight!

My heart was in my mouth tho' when the phone rang just after 6, my son answered but it turned out to be the heating engineer! :(
