Saturday 15 July, 230km, Beziers Mediterranee to Montelimar
Stage 13 profile
The last time the Tour de France visited Beziers Mediterranee, there were British celebrations after then Cofidis rider David Millar pulled clear for victory.
Your Tour experiences:
Stage 13 will be tougher than it looks with the roads winding through the beautiful Ardeche department. Of all the stages I expect a decent breakaway to take this stage. Hopefully Millar will be one of them. Montelimar, is a nice city and if you get the chance to go try the Nougat (speciality of the area) its worth a taste. Along the route I suggest the local Cote d'Ardeche vin Rouge.

The Tour passed our campsite last year in the Loire. The kids were really excited - they got lots of freebies: hats, pens and the like. Then came the Tour after about two hours of waiting - whoosh and then gone. Everyone then started to leave and my son said "why don't we wait till they come round again?" Bless his cotton socks. Never mind, that's one thing to be ticked off the list.
