Monday 3 July, 228.5km, Obernai to Esch-sur-Alzette
Stage two
Obernai, one of the few towns in the region to avoid the destructions of the Second World War, is a stage town for the first time in its existence. The place is renowned for its wine and a couple of Michelin-star restaurants.
Your Tour experiences:
Obernai is my home town, it has gone Tour de France crazy. There are not many of us Brits around here but we'll be hoping to see David Millar or Bradley Wiggins in yellow for the start of this stage.
