Ten pop collaborations that made us feel entirely unworthy

Everything you need to know about the Taylor Swift and Zayn duet

The Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack is on fire!

Stop everything - Taylor Swift and Zayn have just dropped a new duet from the pop heavens and, wait - we are so not ready for this.

Taylor has teamed up with her BFF's BF (Zayn is dating #Squad member Gigi Hadid) for new tune I Don't Want To Live Forever, which is taken from the Fifty Shades Darker movie soundtrack.

It has been released in the US, but not in the UK. Poor us.

This is a pop match we're not sure we deserved, but we'll take it all the same. A bit like these nine collaborations, each of which left us feeling similarly #blessed.

The Weeknd and Daft Punk

The Weeknd has worked with Sia, Drake and Ariana Grande, but his Daft Punk duet Starboy is a level of cool we're still coming to grips with.

The song has been one of the biggest hits of The Weeknd's already-very-successful career and hit No.1 across the world. Plus, it brought Daft Punk back to the charts, and that can only be a good thing.

Cheryl & Liam Payne - I Won't Break

Cheryl and Liam are one of the most gossiped-about couples in the pop world, but they had a professional relationship before they started dating. Liam co-wrote this slow jam from the deluxe edition of Cheryl's 2014 album, Only Human.

Perhaps he caught Cheryl's ear before he did her eye.

Hailee Steinfeld & DNCE - Rock Bottom

If you're a fan of Hailee's HUGE new tune Starving, you might want to check out her 2015 EP Haiz because it was, quite frankly, a mini masterpiece. As well as the secretly-very-rude Love Myself, she also teamed up with Joe Jonas and DNCE for this mega-ballad.

Somehow, it didn't make the charts in either the UK or the US. Only the good people of Australia had the sense to make this a hit. It reached No.39 in the Australian Top 100 - which still isn't good enough TBH.

Ariana Grande & Harry Styles - Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart

Harry Styles' solo album is a long time coming (Harry, you're killing us here) but he's been working behind the scenes in his downtime from One Direction.

He has written songs for several artists, but this tune for Ariana Grande is our pick of his work. Partly because of his lyrics, but also because of Ariana's pitch-perfect delivery.

Taylor Swift & Ed Sheeran - Everything Has Changed

(Warning: Third party video may contain adverts)

It seems like a lifetime ago that Taylor and Ed kept us playing the guessing game over their relationship. Turns out they were just good friends.

Their friendship never blossomed in the way we might have hoped, but we were at least left with this absolute gem of a duet.

The Vamps & Demi Lovato - Somebody To You

(Warning: Third party video may contain adverts)

Somebody To You would make a pretty perfect Vamps song on its own, but add in Demi Lovato's powerful vocals and we've got a near perfect pop duet.

The video gave us some major holiday-envy too, as The Vamps boys hosted a beach party for some specially invited female fans. Our invite must have gone into our junk mail.

Bastille & MNEK - bad_news

(Warning: Third party video may contain adverts)

bad_news isn't one of Bastille's better known songs but it probably should be.

The song is taken from their 2014 mixtape, Other People's Heartache, Pt. III, a collection of collaborations with some of the coolest names in the industry - including the one and only MNEK.

The London producer keeps the beats subtle to let Dan Smith's vocals do their business of melting our hearts every single time.

Justin Bieber & Chance The Rapper - Confident

(Warning: Third party video may contain adverts)

Justin and Chance first worked together in 2013 on this mature track as JB began to evolve from a teen sensation to a more credible pop artist.

Chance brought some added hip hop swag to the tune, but TBH, Justin works the bad boy act just as well here.

Shawn Mendes & Camilla Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer

(Warning: Third party video may contain adverts)

Is it too late to start shipping Shawn and Camilla? We're sure we wouldn't be the first. These two are so powerful on this duet, they make Barack and Michelle Obama look like a regular couple.

I Know What You Did Last Summer was Shawn's second global hit 2015.

Charlie Puth & Selena Gomez - We Don't Talk Any More

(Warning: Third party video may contain adverts)

Pop's golden boy Charlie Puth and the shockingly perfect Selena Gomez matched perfectly on this summer hit.

We used to think there was no better match for Selena than Justin Bieber, but this duet may have changed our minds somewhat.
