Edinburgh to Glasgow

Initially the BBC Scottish Orchestra was based at Queen Street in Edinburgh, but in 1937 it moved to a purpose-built studio at the BBC’s new Scottish headquarters, at Queen Margaret Drive in Glasgow, which then became its principal recording and broadcasting base until the start of 2006.
