Nicola Benedetti wins BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2004, accompanied by the BBC SSO at Edinburgh's Usher Hall and televised on BBC Two. Other performances with Benedetti include the orchestra's 75th Anniversary Concert in 2010 and the orchestra's first tour of India in 2014, conducted by James MacMillan.
Nicola Benedetti performs Karol Szymanowski's First Violin Concerto with the BBC SSO.
