ในคลิปนี้ เราจะมาเรียนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับการพูดเปรียบเทียบมากกว่าสองสิ่งขึ้นไปนะคะ เริ่มด้วยการฟังบทสนทนาเกี่ยวกับความเห็นของผู้พูดสามคน ไม่ต้องกังวลหากฟังไม่เข้าใจทั้งหมดนะคะ เดี๋ยวเราจะมาอธิบายรายละเอียดกันค่ะ แต่ฟังครั้งแรกนี้ ให้จับใจความว่าเขาพูดถึงอะไรค่ะ

Yes, they talked about Japanese, Mexican, Italian and English food. So they were taking one type of food and comparing it to many others.

ใช่แล้วค่ะ เวลาอธิบายถึงอาหาร เราต้องใช้คำคุณศัพท์แบบที่ได้ยินไปในตัวอย่างนะคะ เช่น ‘nice’ ที่แปลว่า ‘อร่อย’, ‘tasty’ แปลว่า ‘มีรสชาติ’, ‘delicious’ แปลว่า ‘อร่อย’, ‘good’ แปลว่า ‘ดี’ และ ‘bad’ ที่แปลว่าแย่ค่ะ

Let’s listen again to the first speaker – how does he use the words ‘nice’ and ‘tasty’?

Ok, กฎสำหรับคำคุณศัพท์ที่มีพยางค์เดียว เช่น ‘nice’ และคำคุณศัพท์ที่มีสองพยางค์ส่วนมาก เช่น ‘tasty’ ต้องเติม ‘the’ ข้างหน้า และใช้ ‘-est’ ลงท้ายคำ
แต่ในกรณีของ ‘nice’ ซึ่งลงท้ายด้วย ‘e’ อยู่แล้ว ก็แค่เติม ‘-st’ นะคะ

Sam 
And in the case of ‘tasty’, the ‘y’ at the end changes to an ‘i’ in ‘the tastiest’. This doesn’t change the pronunciation, it’s just when you’re writing.

In this case, we don’t change the adjective – ‘delicious’ stays ‘delicious’.

Yes, so ‘interesting’ becomes ‘the most interesting’, ‘exciting’ becomes ‘the most exciting’, etcetera. Shall we practise the pronunciation? Repeat after me, please:
the most delicious
It’s the most delicious food in the world.
And we just have two more to look at quickly!

Yes, นอกเหนือจากนี้ ยังมีสองกรณียกเว้นจากกฎที่เราอธิบายไปนะคะ ฟังอีกครั้งค่ะ อย่าลืมว่าต้องมี ‘the’ เสมอนะคะ
