ในบทเรียนนี้ เราจะมาฝึกพูดถึงแผนการในอนาคต ไปฟังประโยคตัวอย่างของผู้พูดสามคนนะคะ และไม่ต้องกังวลหากฟังไม่เข้าใจทั้งหมด เดี๋ยวเราจะมาอธิบายรายละเอียดอีกทีค่ะ ส่วนเวลาฟังครั้งแรก ให้พยายามทำความเข้าใจว่า ผู้พูดคนไหนจะได้อยู่เงียบ ๆ ที่สุด

ทุกประโยคที่เราได้ยินไปนั้น พูดถึงแผนการในอนาคตนะคะ เขาใช้ tense อะไร มาฟังกันอีกครั้งค่ะ:

เป็นประโยคปัจจุบันกำลังทำ หรือ ‘present continuous’ นะคะ - ‘what are you doing’ ใช้พูดถึงแผนการที่เราวางไว้ค่ะ

OK, let’s quickly practise the pronunciation together! Notice that when we say "What are you doing tomorrow?" we pronounce 'are' as 'uh' 'What are you doing tomorrow?" Repeat after me: ‘What are you doing tomorrow’?.

เราใช้คำกริยา ‘to be’ ซึ่งในที่นี้ก็คือ ‘am’ ส่วนคำกริยาหลักต้องเติม ‘ing’ นะคะ ซึ่งในที่นี้คำกริยาหลักคือ ‘have’ เติม ‘ing’ เข้าไปก็ต้องเป็น ‘having’

OK, Let’s practise the pronunciation again. Notice how we say 'I am' as 'I'm'. Repeat after me: ‘I'm having lunch with my mother.'

‘I'm having lunch with my mother.'

ต่อไป! ฟังคนที่สองพูดกันอีกทีค่ะ

OK มี ‘I’m’ อีกแล้วนะคะ ส่วนคำกริยาหลักก็คือ ‘going’ และเขายังพูดว่า ‘as usual’ ซึ่งหมายถึงสิ่งที่เราทำเป็นประจำนั่นเองค่ะ

And let’s practise the pronunciation together. Notice how 'to' in 'going to work' sounds like 'tuh' Repeat after me: ‘I'm going to work as usual.'

And, we have one more. คนสุดท้ายนี้เขาวางแผนจะทำอะไรคะ

เขาพูดว่า ‘not doing anything’ แปลว่า ‘จะไม่ทำอะไร’ ค่ะ ซึ่งนี่เป็นรูปประโยคปฏิเสธนะคะ ดังนั้นจะมีคำว่า ‘not’ อยู่หลังคำกริยา ‘to be’ และยังมีวลีที่น่าสังเกตคือ ‘it’s my day off’ แปลว่า ‘มันคือวันหยุดของฉัน’ นั่นเองค่ะ

When you can say 'I'm not doing anything' remember that it's important to stress the 'not'. Repeat after me: ‘I'm not doing anything’.

Did you say the same? นอกจากประโยคที่ได้ยินไปแล้ว อีกประโยคที่ใช้ได้ด้วย ก็คือ ‘I'm going to see a new film’ ค่ะ

ต่อไปให้แต่งประโยค ถามเพื่อนค่ะว่า ‘ค่ำนี้’ ‘this evening’ เขาจะทำอะไร ใช้คำกริยา ‘do’ ด้วยนะคะ พูดแล้วรอฟังเฉลยจากฟิลค่ะ:
