And I’ve got all the right money and all that
An early morning of culture. As the snow was falling and the road/rail networks were giving up the ghost, I was deep into the new BBC series Civilisations. Not for me the usual breakfast fun with Chris/news/travel/ weather etc but culture, art and a sun-lit Simon Schama. This is a major new seri...
If I can borrow a coat to wear...
It’ll be over by the weekend. That’s what my BBC weather app seems to suggest anyway so its just a question of hunkering down with your radiators and friends/colleagues. Three jumpers got me through yesterday, might make it four today. Walking shoes, padded socks, heated undergarments-all useful...
Well giddy up and giddy up and get away

If you’ve got a problem...
Well here we are again. How was that all-to-short weekend?
I’m here just like I said
A swift departure from the studio yesterday to catch the Julius Caeser that David Morrissey told us about a few weeks back. It’s an amazing production. Under 2 hours, full of explosions, yelling, murder (obviously) and a standing crowd that becomes part of the crowd scenes.
We grew up together that way
Well I hope your Valentines Day was a rip-roaring success. Observing it from the vantage point of extreme middle-age, it does seems a terrible pressure we put everyone through to say the right thing, buy the right thing, do the right thing.
