You know it don’t seem right

It’s not even 6am but there’s a job to be done. And that job involves TRYING TO MAKE MY PHONE WORK. It might just be that I spent ALL OF LAST NIGHT trying to make fix it but that I FAILED. When I speak to the nice repair person I will be calm of course and NOT AT ALL MAD. I shall explain that it is Brits day and that I NEED IT. They will ignore me and I will trudge wearily to the O2, the only guest with NO PHONE and so therefore VERY WEIRD. How can I take my selfies with Ed Sheeran/Jethro Tull/ Blue Oyster Band/whoever if I am phone-less. SAD!

In other news, todays calm oasis of a show features the BBC’s security Corespondent Gordon Corera. Gordon has reported on security matters for the BBC for many years and obviously that takes him into some pretty unusual situations. His new book tells one of the most unusual. It is called ‘Secret Pigeon Service’ and tells the story of the secret British Operation, codename ‘Columba’, where 16,000 pigeons were dropped in occupied Europe with the aim of gathering intelligence from ordinary folk under Nazi occupation. It’s true and Gordon will explain more after 6.
