The tension is ended, the sentence suspended
Well it wasn’t a catastrophe anyway. The speech I had to make at child 3’s school last night seemed to go ok. No one walked out, heckled or threw anything. I never got round to my juggling and card tricks but maybe next time... Well today looks interesting. Anyone who was anywhere in the 70s...
Fifty-nine 4th of Julys
I have a speech to give tonight. I have no idea why I agreed to this. It’s at child 3’s school and I have to hasten there after tonight’s show. The whole point about radio of course is that you cant see who you’re talking to, so standing up in front of eminent and learned parents WHO ARE LOOKIN...
Make a dream come true
I know we most of us have our morning routines. Breakfast, gym, running, kids, school run, paperwork, teas, coffees etc. This applies to radio too but this morning I have a CD playing at 6am. This is weird behavior here but there are mellow sounds playing from our kitchen and it sounds good...

Faith hope and charity
A friend suggested one way of finding better sleep patterns was to rub some kind of fragrant oils on my feet. It might be a coincidence of course but after the worst night in memory I might return to the hot cocoa (or do I mean cold wine?).
Feet start to pound
Excellent bake yesterday from Nigel, good flavours. You know when you can still taste a good meal the next day (in a good way)? Well, that. And the veggie chorizo was quite something. Ignore what Matt said, he loved it really.
Paint your face up in the sky
Wow that was a rattly old night. Haven’t looked outside just yet but I’m assuming all the bins, recycling tubs and garden waste bags in the road, along with their contents, are scattered liberally across the cars and hedges. Time to check the contents of everyone’s bins as we go on a clear up (‘...
