JBG – I am a late convert to Spotify (it didn’t like Ireland until recently) I love someone suggesting something on here and being able to listen to the whole album. Suits my impetuous nature and prevents potential additions to the part of my cd collection that gets listened to a couple of times and then forgotten about.



Not sure about the new Bic Runga album but as ever at work I was only half listening. RadMac is my usual afternoon listening choice.

I bought the same weight in dried pasta shapes as the weight I've lost, and every now and then I pick it up in two carrier bags and see what it's like to be carrying that weight about with me. I know it would be distributed but it still makes me stop and think about the harm carting that kind of weight around all the time, must be doing to joints, heart etc.

On which subject, I've recently downloaded Andy Burrows' album 'Company', and I'm really enjoying it. I first came across Andy (formerly of Razorlight) last year when Simon played the Ch******s song he did with Tom Smith 'When the Thames Froze' from the album 'Funny Looking Angels', which I also bought.



Loving the Autumn and sunset pictures. I went out with my camera on Saturday, but I was a bit disappointed with the results. Think I know where I was going wrong though, so I'll be having another go at the next opportunity.



#57 That's a bummer about Strictly, Suzieeee. Mo and I went last year and had a fab time. Although I have to say the atmosphere from the audience point of view is better at Shepherds Bush, which is obviously a much smaller venue.

#74 Ameila - I haven't used it on my phone recently but have a couple of times on iPad since it was updated and it seemed fine. Usually the best thing to try if an app starts crashing after being updated is to completely delete it from the device and fron itunes and try installing it completely fresh. It wouldsn't hurt to do a complete reboot of the device as well after uninstalling it and before reinstalling it.

Before I go, take a look at the photo on FB of his Lordship with Jeff Wayne - he looks like Alan Titchmarsh but after too many pies and too much medicinal brandy!
