I have placed a few of those hundreds the chappie from Souter Lighthouse said are within 6 miles of the Place (and half of that is North Sea). I'm just a beginner too with only 213 caches found. I have a meeting with them on Friday. I have 3 firms who want to use me this way and I know what will happen, all the work will come in at once and I will be probably be successful in securing another contract from the few I have been put forward for! Typical! I suppose its nice to be wanted!!

lol Sal, ive been in similar cleaning situations. Not so many moons ago I removed a dish from the microwave not realising how hot it was. Every Friday night my dad uses CEEFAX to check share prices and will be devastated not to be able to do it any more. When he's away I'm left with a list of shares to check plus the page numbers. I've never told him this but I usually forget to do it - however I always manage to find the required info on t'interweb. Maybe now is the time to confess to my dad in order to lessen the blow.

Very efficient they were too, and got us a great hotel on Waikiki beach.

If you have Sky look at the info blurb - it lists the specialist subjects then look for UK No.1 Hits 1963-2000. That will be me.

Level 42 were fantastic! I'll write more over the page, but I'll just say now that I've seen them live many times, and that has to have been one of their best ever gigs. Lady_Stormrider, if they're playing somewhere near you I strongly recommed you get tickets.

Glad you enjoyed the concert Deebee. Hoping for an early blog as I'm out in the field all day.

A quick good morning to everyone... I didn't get on here yesterday and not had time to catch up but especially want to say to Amelia that I love your pictures above, especially the mushrooms/fungi one, which is my favourite.



Deebee, so pleased that you enjoyed seeing Level 42. You said after all these years they're playing better than ever and I think that with a lot of the groups/solo singers whose gigs I go to, the older they have become, the better many of them seem to be and I think some are so pleased they can still fill venues that they make more effort to show their appreciation.



Paul Carrack is a good example of one who just gets better and better and I go to see him each time he comes to Edinburgh and the same goes for The Hollies who I see once a year and I first saw them with Allan Clarke and Graham Nash when I was at school and their lead singer Peter Howarth does a first class job as lead singer and Tony Hicks is still with them and never seems to age and they seem to appreciate people still want to see them.



I'd better stop there or I'll be here all day!!!

Well, quite remarkable, as a certain TV presenter used to say. Thanks for the congrats - all the more unexpected in view of my comments at #14 above.



Good to hear Level 42 still going strong (and that number still appearing !). Saw them at NEC in 1986/87. Have to agree on the Paul Carrack thoughts (#91- Florence). The BBC4 doc a couple of weeks ago was very good.

Parsley Cat, if you like Paul Carrack, try to see him if he's in your area... he seems to be in Edinburgh every February and I'm going to see him on Valentine's day this time. He's such a lovely person as well as a great singer.
