Don't skimp on the mint
Morning bloggers. All well? Quiet one at this end-kids keep disappearing to do more grown-up things. Nest still busy, just more room in it and fewer grubs needed. Which is a shame as leg of lamb tonight with Nigel sounds like a belter. I am however a hard-liner on the issue of mint sauce. It really is not acceptable to serve this British classic without a hint of the mint. Please don't try that at home. Nigel will work his magic from 6 as ever.
Hope you enjoyed Pixie Lott last night. She has always impressed the Radio 1 crowd but cutting it with us wiser folk is a tougher ask. However I thought she really impressed last night - you can see the films here as well as my lovely photo of her and the band. Terrifyingly, she was born in 1991. That is why she can be forgiven for forgetting 'The Real Thing' as the band who originally recorded 'You To Me Are Everything'. Good grief.

And tunes today please to mark the NASA symposium on 'the search for signs of LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE'. It opens today in Virginia. To quote Eric Idle 'Let's hope there's intelligent life somewhere out in space cos there's b***** all down here on earth'. Those top tunes below please...

joke?"
In a hushed voice, the girl next to him says, "Before you tell that joke,
you should know something. Our barmaid is blonde and the bouncer is
blonde. I'm a 6' tall blonde, black belt. The guy sitting next to me is a
blonde, 6' 2, weighs 225 and he's a rugby player. The girl to your right
is 6' 2" pushing 300 and she's a wrestler. Each one of US is blonde. Think
about it, Mister. You still wanna tell that joke?"
The blind guy says, "Nah, not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times."

#88 - Tortie - I've got a frock and some pretty shoes and handbag so would love to attend the Christmas partay. Can we avoid Thursday 16th December, it's our Christmas lunch from work and I can't miss that - haven't been the last two years due to poorly child and lack of babysitter.
