because ...... this week has been really tough, work wise. I've basically spent a lot of time in tears at home and at work, and as some of you know, am currently on the hunt for a new place of employment. My lovely man, the FantasticRolastic, has been an absolute star. He's convinced me that I can't be superwoman and has comforted me and given huggles when I@ve most needed them. I can honestly say that when I'm with him it really is a Wonderful World.

Simon, I'm so happy to know that your weekend is as fun-filled and thrilling as mine! No homework assisting for me tho' - funnily enough the 16 year old G~B thinks he knows more than me so never asks for help. The 10 year old G~B rather worryingly hasn't had any homework so far this term. My weekend will be mainly taxiing - the elderG~B and some mates to an over 16s(!?!) disco (it sounds to be one of these DJ battle type things so disco probably isn't the correct terminology, however the fount of all knowledge isn't here at the mo for me to ask) and the youngerG~B to footie training tomorrow and a match on Sunday.

BB - it's been beautiful here today, a bit chilly and a bit windy but sunny for the most part. PoSh, if it's as chilly in Sheffield as it is in Lincolnshire today, Luey is most certainly not nesh. It's freezing. I couldn't believe it, last night I had the winter duvet back on the bed, jim-jams (sans pants) and bedsox on and still couldn't get to sleep, I was soooo cold. Anyhoo, the good news is, two chaps have been today and mended my central heating, the hoose is soooo cosy tonight. The youngerGB asked me to turn down the heating, earlier!!! RESULT!!! You don't know what it means to me - we spent most of last winter sans heating. Bit of a challenge but we felt quite triumphant when Spring arrived and we realised we had survived the coldest winter for yonks.
