Lovely and sunny here in Londinium - could almost believe it is still summer.



My suggestion:



SOUL KITCHEN - PATTI SMITH (well, it's a cover of the doors so a repeat of #5 but 2 Alex's suggesting it makes it right)



Woken up at 5.30 by crazy kittens. Charging up and down stairs, along landing, into bathroom where they managed to shut the door. Alerted me to their plight by throwing shampoo, shower gel etc into the bath as loudly as possible. I get up, let them out and they zoom into spare room. I go back to bed. 10 minutes later, another crash. I get up to see the laundry strewn over the landing, including 2 pairs of knickers planted in the litter tray. Kittens have shut themselves in spare room. I let them out, they zoom into bedroom and launch a full attack on Mr P (who until this point, was oblivious to what was going on). Finally, boy kitten is thrown into garden with big cats and girl kitten is put into bed with Mr P with the warning that she'll burst her stitches if she's not careful. I hope the house is still standing when I get home!

Stop with all the holibobs talk. I ended one contract on 12th June and was going to take some time off but landed new contract pretty well immediately so no hols until 2011. The last proper holiday was in 2005!!!

Hey Miss P - It's good you got a new contractso quickly in one way but not so good on the holibobs front. Can't you sneak in a long weekend? My last 'proper' (ie away from it all and totally relaxing) holiday was in 2005 too - it was a cracker - I have had time off work since but have only managed to make it north of the border to visit my dear old Mum. The GBs and I had a few days in Aberfeldy last week with some friends which was most enjoyable. Sounds like you've got your hands full with the Gorgeous Kittens (GKs). Hopefully, they'll soon calm down again.
