Leapy Lee it isn't
Good morning to all Drivetime bloggers (blog soundtrack is Chris playing OMD and the new CD by Justin Townes Earle, son of Steve Earle but not together). I spent an agonising evening with my daughter (only Spurs supporting child I managed to raise) watching the match v Young Boys last night. No fun at all but what did we expect. Still it's 2 hours of TV that I watch with her and that makes it unique. I just can't get that interested in Americas Next Top Model or Hollyoaks. But after last night's horror show, I might have to reconsider.
Live tunes today! Before I went on holiday I was going on about the album by I Am Arrows called "Sun Comes Up Again". It's basically the work of Andy Burrows who was in Razorlight and it's full of really interesting pop songs in the Divine Comedy, Badly Drawn Boy style of cleverness. Listen up after 6 as they will be in with instruments at the ready.
And oldies for you to have a go at? How about the final of Celebrity MasterChef which starts tonight? Food, TV, Celebs, Kitchens etc what more could you ask for.
Enjoy your Wednesday, see you at 5.05.

SOUL KITCHEN - PATTI SMITH (well, it's a cover of the doors so a repeat of #5 but 2 Alex's suggesting it makes it right)
Woken up at 5.30 by crazy kittens. Charging up and down stairs, along landing, into bathroom where they managed to shut the door. Alerted me to their plight by throwing shampoo, shower gel etc into the bath as loudly as possible. I get up, let them out and they zoom into spare room. I go back to bed. 10 minutes later, another crash. I get up to see the laundry strewn over the landing, including 2 pairs of knickers planted in the litter tray. Kittens have shut themselves in spare room. I let them out, they zoom into bedroom and launch a full attack on Mr P (who until this point, was oblivious to what was going on). Finally, boy kitten is thrown into garden with big cats and girl kitten is put into bed with Mr P with the warning that she'll burst her stitches if she's not careful. I hope the house is still standing when I get home!
Enough of my wittering.....

Well done all the menshees - heard BB and Maverick - great tune Maverick by the way - but then was sidetracked and didn't hear much of the rest of the show :(
Had a fab run last night - 6 miles - feeling all buoyed up today. Fabby.
I agree with an earlier post - SM is most definitely on fine form - what little I hear of the show, I'm loving it. Of course Simon and his team enjoyed the punnetry on here (and on t'other side) yesterday - it was all so clever and funny.
Rightio, will go off and try to think of a suitable tune.

My last 'proper' (ie away from it all and totally relaxing) holiday was in 2005 too - it was a cracker - I have had time off work since but have only managed to make it north of the border to visit my dear old Mum. The GBs and I had a few days in Aberfeldy last week with some friends which was most enjoyable. Sounds like you've got your hands full with the Gorgeous Kittens (GKs). Hopefully, they'll soon calm down again.

Not only DJ Otzi, but also Antonia, Der junegen Zillertaler, Twinnies (a pair of sacharine-sweet blond teenagers playing accordions and singing), and various others.
