#30 - Having had a look on Autotrader (other motoring websites, etc) it would appear the car I had my eye on is a bit overpriced. I have heard cars are more expensive in Lincolnshire - not sure why so I've decided to have a wee lookie when I'm on hols at my Mum's in Scotland. Also, my car is having a service tomorrow so I'm going to ask the chap if he could look out for something for me. Keeping my options open.

#64. Hope it's a good game for them, and a good atmosphere. When my son was much younger, I took him to six football matches, which put him off the game, seemingly for life. He is 19 now, and not interested in it at all. This may be because that in all six games attended, he never saw a goal scored. 5 consecutive turgid 0-0's, (I hasten to point out, only one of these matches involved the glorious Rams). The sixth game was a friendly between Latvia and Sheffield Utd at Bramall Lane, in which Marian Pahars scored the only goal, giving Latvia the win. The goal, of course, coincided with the boys visit to the loo. He decided that watching footie was not for him.

#73 - PoS - how is it you guys can remember games, scorers and scorelines? I have always been impressed by that particular boy skill. My ex was very good at it too; also, he could pre-empt what the commentator would say next. Sometimes it sounded like there was a Motty echo in our living room.

Re tiramisu, there's a great line in the film "Sleepless in Seattle" (which is one of my all time favourite movies, by the way - I cry buckets every time I see it). The Tom Hanks character is about to go on his first date since his wife died, and he's quite worried about it. He's discussing it with his friend, and I can't remember the exact words but it's something like "And then there's tiramisu - I've no idea what it is, but she's probably going to want me to do it to her"
