There seem to be lots of Octopus songs, Mr Mayo:

I think you should reconsider tonight's theme, as an octopus-related topic is rarer than motor-racing ones.

Simon, I recall that when I started out in my shop business, and you were hosting the Breakfast show on R1, you used to play 'Somethings Jumping In Your Shirt' by The Bootzilla Orchestra quite a bit. Never gets an airing nowadays, but you could dust it off today, seeing as The Bootzilla Orchestra is really Malcolm MCLAREN.



Talking of that old show, you played Earth, Wind And Fire 'Lets Groove' on Tuesday. EW&F are notoriously incomprehensible (ask Ken Bruce), and right up until very recently I thought that when they sang Lets Groove, they were, it seemed to me, to be singing 'Breakfast Crew!' This despite the rather large clue of the songs title.

Perhaps one day, we could have songs linked by their 'mondegreens'.
