Hi Alison, yes I heard it! Made me smile!

#28 When we were first married, in the middle of the night, my husband thought he heard someone trying to open the kitchen window . So,his first thought was to grab the nearest weapon, in this case a tennis racquet, and run downstairs and surprise the intruder. On running downstairs, he heard the side kitchen window flap shut. In his anger, he decided to go out and pursue the guy, running down the road. When he realised that the potential burglar had disappeared, and had calmed down a bit, he looked down to find that he had forgotten to put ANY clothes on! He beat a hasty retreat home with only a tennis racquet protecting his modesty!!

Haven't got radio today - missing it something awful.

#30 Tee hee - that makes me feel so much better. Husband's out at work so has no idea I've shared this with the nation. Will play it on i-player later - sure he'll be thrilled!

Good Afternoon Everyone,



Well everyone seems to be on top form today. I must say the arrests of the spies brought back memories of living in Berlin just before the wall came down. I was a bit gullible and on a road trip to the West with some friends, they all had me believing we were being followed by the KGB. I was shaking in my shoes, I can tell you. Another time, a friend and I went shopping in the East, we pooped into a parade of shops, did the obligatory bit of shopping, came out very happy with our purchases, chatting excitedly stopped at where we had parked the car only to be faced with an empty space!!! Horror of horrors, someone was going to have to stand with the card showing the union flag above their heads whilst we awaited the arrival of the Russian soldiers. As neither of us fancied that, we decided we'd walk back to Checkpoint Charlie for help and, thankfully, on the way, we spotted the car. We'd been so busy chatting we hadn't noticed we'd walked past it. Happy days.



Anyhoo, can't think of any choons to suggest. Doh! :(



Alison and Chickster both your stories made me chuckle. My ex decided to confront some imagined burglars sporting a t-shirt a piece of 4 x 2 (what's that!?!) and nothing else. Needless to say, I was standing behind him, crying with laughter. Perhaps that's why he's my ex!

I thought about it as I was prepping the lunches this morning but got sidetracked shoe-horning the eldestGB from his bed for his paper round and a 6th Form induction day, getting youngestGB sorted and ready for school and sorting out the rabbit. Aw poor me;) I come way down the list after said GBs and GR (gorgeous rabbit).

The job is going really well. I've been taken out to a couple of the sites we manage which kind of helps when I'm taking enquiries over the phone.



Life's great in general! And yesterday I got the date of my Decree Nisi (12th July) which is good news. I can't believe it's been so quick - I always thought divorce took years but this has been a matter of months.



Have I missed owt here!?!
