Riber still stands, but it is closed. Its legacy lives on however, with wild wallabies roaming the Derbyshire countryside. They escaped from Riber Castle zoo years ago. Did you bump your heads in Speedwell, when the boat goes along the lower section?

Is it my imagination or *is* there is a discernible shift away from the music?

[with the exception of the 'Live Music Guest' but that slot is more speec/interview-led].



I suppose that as Simon is being developed by BBCR2 as a personality in his own right, it's hardly surprising that the track list will take a back seat given Radio 2's future speech-heavy direction and his speech radio experience. He is a remarkably able interviewer, after all.

Well, I told Mr. Of Sheffield we woudl lose. I'm sure he will be happy. - After not conceding a goal at home since February we concede 4. I hate playoffs. Every time we play them we crumble during the second leg. Oh well, a season of consolidation next year. And at least we finished above Direby!

I was chatting to a mate on Faceache last night, and she casually dropped into the conversation that she once met Simon. About 8 years ago she was at Uni and working in a cafe in Norwich. He came in with his family and she served them ice cream. Well how about that!

Since last Friday I think the world must be laughing at us. I am.



Anyway, met Gregg Wallace last night at "an evening with..." type do at his Wallace & Co gaff in Putney. Very nice bloke and great entertainer. Needless to say the food was extremely tasty!



Kev - well, you kind of wished for it mate, but I did let out a huge groan when I saw the result late last night. For my sins I've been given tickets for the Oxford York play off final on Sunday, so taking Boy Wonder for a pre-k.o. curry.
