Hi all, lunchtime so I'm back for a bit. Just been over to twitter - looks like CDF has the playlist sewn up again. Thanks Darren, it means the rest of us don't need to bother ;-) (only joking - please don't take offence!) There's also a link to Simon's latest Telegraph offering (other newspapers, etc...) which I'll post shortly on the FB site for any non-twits. He talks about tweeting on the loo - don't know about the rest of you, but that's going to give me pause for thought next time one of his pearls of wisdom pops up on my screen....

Sad news about Harry Carpenter.



In the days before saturation live football coverage, his Sportsnight show was massively important for we football-lovers. Half an hours highlights of a cup replay or a European game was the full extent of football coverage during the week.

#39 hear hear Ken. Very sad indeed. And I too loved Sportsnight - it was the only day in the week I stayed up late on a schoolday, to watch Preston North End vs. Stockport, or some such, plus a bit of boxing if we were lucky!

Looks like the Spring weather has taken a turn,
