Sensitive: I was wondering how much Mr Campbell’s experiences with depression and issues with alcohol affected his career both politically & as an author?



Moderate: What does he think about Mark Beazley’s, Jonathan Cake’s and Andrew Dunn’s portrayals of him on screen? Which was closest to the real Alastair Campbell?



Well read: I enjoyed his latest Novel Maya however I am left wondering what one fundamental change would Mr Campbell make if he become Director of the BBC or other Media based Organisation, (other than the creation a channel entirely devoted to Burnley Football Club).

I saw Living Colour supporting Motorhead at the Hammy Odeon in the mid 80s. Upstairs - had to walk out and go to the bar. So loud it was unlistenable - I thought my ears were going to burst.



Motorhead sounded like Cara Dillon in comparison.



Of course it may have been a deliberate ploy by the sound man :-).

#80 There is a tiny theatre in Cardiff called the Globe, where they played last year. Try listening to your heart beat after that is impossible!

Although Spiritualized at the Cambridge Corn Exchange came close to driving me out of the hall. It was on the "Let It Come Down" tour, they had a full horn section on top of the usual guitar-driven wall of noise, and it was almost too much to bear.

Plus Spike dont you know that its different for girls??

And I've seen Motorhead 3 times now - although at one of the gigs I didn't actually "see" Lemmy as my view in the auditorium was somewhat screened by Marshall stack amps! He was definitely there tho .....
