It's that Friday feeling again
Very little sleep=hyperactive shows. Can't promise I wont be speaking gibberish by 7pm. Not making a lot of sense already, the lady who served me coffee couldn't understand a word I said. It must be me. If I start to dribble you will tell me?
Lots to do...Sade first to record an interview with her about her first new album in 10 years. Presumably she has lots to say, will report back.
Then to 5Live for 2 hours of movie chat with Dr Mark Kemode. Simon Schama joins us from New York and Precious director Lee Daniels.
And finally...to the glorious start to the weekend that is ARF. All request Friday from 5. It really is such a great end to Friday. And everyone seems to have extraordinary weekends planned. Must dedicate a song to all those who have a dull one planned. Leave your opening songs below. Anything you like as long as it's big and brash.
Might just have time for a power nap now.

Gibberish is fairly normal on a Friday, I find, most especially by home-time! I'm off to see the Imagined Village in Reading tonight, so would like to request their version of Cold Hailey Rainy Night to get me in the mood - can you get any bigger and brasher than that (including Dhol drums from the wonderful Johnny Kalsi, sitar, guitar and percussion from Transglobal Underground amongst other things)? Fairly appropriate too, what with the weather as it as and all...
