Miscellany...

Hi everyone!

New Year's Eve is a time for celebration, friends, family and great food. There are only a few hours left in 2009...tick, tick, tick...the clock says 24 o'clock soon and we are wishing everyone all the best for 2010. Well, dear friends, let me wish you the very best for the coming year. May 2010 bring you all that you would wish for yourself.

I thought you might like my last entry - a mishmash of different photos. I have promised some more snowy pics to Kuldeep and I reckon Naheed and Ana Paula would love them too.

The next photos are of animals: a rescued sparrow, Csilla with a kitty that have been abandoned and our dog, called Bobó, who is everyone's 'darling' in my family. Sometimes, I think he is a little spoilt as we let him go inside the house not only when outside is cold but at any time when we are at home.

The penultimate photo is of me holding cocoa snails in my hand in my kitchen. I had sent this photo to the BBC LE team when they were sorting out the calendar for 2009. This pic is also my profile pic on FB so, friends, you can find me there too.

The last shot is of my favourite flower, a sunflower. Every flower has specific meaning, sunflower means: homage, devotion and adoration. I am sending this photograph to the whole BBC LE team to express my gratitude. There is no day without visiting the BBC LE website. Thank you for everything you have done for me this past years. Without you I would not be able to be standing where I am today. Thank you.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

See you all in January. Take care,

Anita
