Bye bye 2009...Welcome 2010

Welcome 2010

My dearest friends,

After the demanding weeks before Christmas buying all the 2010 schooling materials for my son, paying my bills, buying gifts, decorating my house, repairing my aunt’s house, taking care of my mother’s hair and nails, taking care of my family’s teeth and the teeth of everyone who wanted to be ready for Christmas and New Year…
I’m still recovering from the work up to my neck. Some days ago we had a bug at the company while I was working and working so that when we tried to store everything I had done in the computer, it just didn’t fit.

Phew…Now it’s time to relax and wait for the coming year but not before dropping some lines to you:

It’s been about 4 years since the first time I came to know about this website. It seemed colossal to me with the monumental work of the team.

I was very suspicious at first. I was sure all the bloggers and readers were characters created by the staff. So I decided to test the veracity of the blogging area asking them to let me write a blog… what later they surprisingly accepted.

Along the past 4 years in this World of fascination I’ve been learning not only English but singularities from different cultures. Now my humble knowledge of diverse kinds of people allows me to see the things under other human beings’ point of view. Imagine how sepulchral and neurotical would be the World if we lost our capacity to see with the eyes of children and only saw bad intention in everyone. And it’s absolutely splendid how love can make friends understand each other.

I remember in the end of September 2007 I missed the floor but soon I realised the warm community, as any friend, would always be there.

Today all I need to say to the BBC LE staff is thank you for your fruitful work and for everything. Thanks also to all bloggers, especially the caring teachers and our devoted readers. I wish you all health, peace, love and wealth.

Bye bye 2009…welcome 2010
Adriana
