Every dog has its day
Hi friends,
Today I’ll start the blog with a question because I’m still shocked. What would you do if you are rushing to the work and suddenly the most beautiful little dog appears in the middle of the road just in front of your car?
It happened to me and I can say we don’t have time to think of looking at the mirror. My immediate reaction was to stop the car not considering the speed. I know it isn’t a sensible decision. As a result I almost caused an accident for myself. Luckily there wasn’t another car behind me, the dog stayed alive and I arrived safe at work. Happy end to us. Thank God. Tell me… what would be your own reaction?
Finally we are planning Christmas in my family. Perhaps it’s the heat that is disturbing my snowy picture of Christmas or it might be my sister’s sadness. Maybe her dog won’t survive until 25th December. His name is Mozart and he is very ill.

Despite the bad news, I’m happy to meet my relatives, especially my niece. I’ll end the blog with a picture of Brenda and my sister-in-law, Bianca.

I’d like to say that I’m reading the writings of my blogger mates, students and teachers and thanks, readers for the nice comments. I’d like to comment in every blog but I’m struggling to publish this blog with the bad connection of the countryside. I’ll do my best to reply later though.
I doubt my blogs can meet your expectations but I love communicating with you all.

Hi Adriana, Let me tell you that incidents with cars and animals are very common where I live. There must be hundreds of dogs with out a home at my town and almost every week you can see a dead dog on the sidewalk. Fortunatelly it never happened to me, but I think I´d stop as a common reaction, you don´t think about it, you just do it without looking in your rearview mirror. I´m glad to hear that anybody was hurt! Best Regards Darío.-
i like animals, your is a good girl!!!!!! you save the DOG, i like this !!!!!
Hi Adri, You always come up with thought provoking blog. I am pleased that you could save life of dog suddenly came in the middle of your way while you were driving. It reflects your love for animals and nature. But on the other hand, we all human beings (say supreme animals) are also a part of nature. Your step of stopping car was absolutely right if it was around 40-50 kmph speed. I recall one same type of incident. One day, accompanied by my wife and 5 year daughter, I was going nearby town on national highway on a motorcycle. Suddenly, almost 10 feet long snake appeared on road. Like you, I was perplexed. I let my motorcycle crush the snake. Death of snake caused pain to me, however, it was wise decision, because if I had stopped motorcycle, snake would have attacked on us. , Like in your case, there was also possibility that an another vehicle would have hit me from backside. Fingers crossed for Mozart. Wish you and your entire family very happy Christmas and New Year 2010. Bye
