Shirley Posts: What's Your Fave Japanese Food?

Hot or cold. Dry or soup. Raw or Cooked. I just looovee Japanese food at all time!

My choice for lunch this time is Chanponmen ramen (ramen with corn & seafood) from a restaurant called Tai-chan, in one of the oldest Mall in Jakarta. Thank goodness I can have many choices of Japanese food in my country (probably because there are many Japanese expatriates here).

Get the taste of the soup, mix it with ichimi (chili powder)... and I am in heaven *lols* I often crave for Japanese food, especially for sushi and kanimaki... Anything made with crab is delicious... I like sitting in front of the sushi bar and watch all those beautiful food creations pass in front of my sight.

Anyways, enough with the mouth-watery descriptions... I just want to say have a wonderful weekend to all of BBC LE readers, and I'll be back (hopefully) with heavier topics next week :)

Hi Shirley, I am happy to read your blog again, concisely and wisely. There are many Japanese cuisine in Taiwan, because Japan had reigned Taiwan for 50 years. Taiwanese are used to and love Japanese food. Best wishes, James.

Hi Shirley! I ate sushi with wasabi some time ago, but I did not like it. I will try other dishes though. Any suggestion is welcome. About texting, my sister is more or less like your friend. She is always checking her mobile phone or texting. Anyhow, I am not a social network addicted. Great to hear from you too. Have a good week ahead!!

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
