Morning has broken

Hi I am James from Taiwan (Yilan County),

December, 1st (Tuesday) Time Zone= GMT (UTC) +8 Humidity: 65%
Weather :17-21 °C (cloudy), Coordination= 24°45'23.47"N, 121°45'54.41"E

There is a saying in Chinese:” A day's plan starts with the morning.”

The very first place I go to after I wake up every morning is the bathroom. The things I usually do are: brush my teeth, wash my face, and sometimes take a dump (poo-poo) or/and a piss. After that, I eat breakfast in the kitchen. I often take an everyday shower in the evening instead of in the morning. How about you? How long do you take a shower? When is it?

A photo can say thousands of words. The following photo is one of the three bathrooms in my house, which is the one I mostly use.

The house I live is a semi-detached housing (consists of four houses built side by side as units sharing three party walls). It has three and half floors and has three bathrooms for each floor. Five persons live together, therefore, we don't need to fight for using a toilet. How many bathrooms are there in your house? Do you have to fight for using a bathroom?

Best wishes
James Wu (Wu Zhih Cheng, Student Blogger of 2007, May)

Hi James Happy to see you here again ! it 's the first time to connect BBC DIRECTLY , after such a long ! have a nice day

Hi James! Somehow I knew that you would be the first blogger at the blogging site this December. If you were not the first one I would be disappointed in you, my friend. ;) But what is this great interest in bathrooms and toilets. Still??? James, can I ask something if I am not too nosy? Who is the fifth person you live together? I thought you are four- you, your wife and your two daughters. Looking forward to hearing from you. Take care!

Hi James, It's so nice to see you around here again. You made me laugh, as usual. I have 2 bathrooms and since there are 2 people in my flat, no fight for it then. Take care, Cris

Hello Pary, long time no see, nice to hear from you, blessing you. Hi Anita, I live with my Mom, wife and two daughters. It's always a good thing for friends of asking. Ho Cris, what a wonderful place in which you live that has two bathrooms and are only two persons, James.

Hello James! How have you been up to? It is great to hear from you again. As far as I am concerned, I live in a terrace of three houses. Although my house has two bathrooms, we fight for them in the morning. I usually take a shower as soon as I get home from work, therefore, in the evening. My shower usually lasts 10 minutes. 3 minutes for getting my hair and body wet enough to lather. 3 minutes for lathering up my hair and body and 4 minutes for rinsing. As I like singing when I shower, I sometimes lose track of time. I should be ashamed because water is a valuable resource and we should not waste it. I cannot wait to read your next posts. Again, it is good to catch up with you. Good day!!

Hello James. So lucky you and bringing in the pain striking topic on the behalf of almost everybody on this planet. The bathroom, the very first place, that one needs with eyes half opened, not really willing to talk to whosoever comes across except „good“ morning to get ones vocal on the track. Interestingly i read about the morning fight to who gets first into the bathroom, i'm also lucky and telling you about how i rather deal with this situation. I just make up at the time i hit the sack about who's going when in the morning...nice, isn't it?

Hello James, nice to see you. I am from Taiwan, too. You make me feel friendly. I have two bathrooms in my house but just using one. Because I don't like to do much housework. I am the mother of two children. I like to read your articles of your daily life. Keep going! Best wishes Demi

Hi James, My house has a family bathroom and an en suite bathroom for three people.Cheers!

Reply to the comments:1) Fillipo(Italy):Your comment is awesome, one of my weaker part of English is to tell a everyday stuff, such as: bathing process, style of rooms, and etc.The way of your describing is better than mine, thanks to you that I can learn from you, For example, the word "lather" is a new one to me, and I learnt it from you. Thanks again. Hopefully you can be a Student Blogger, that would be nice to read your blog. 2)Rajesh(Germany): I appreciate that you shared your smart morning process, I admire that you can use so many phrasal verbs in your post, I am looking forward to your coming comments.3) Demi(Taiwan): Oops, you are from Taiwan, too. It's my pleasure and hornor to have you here with me and others. Please keep going comments. I wonder:Do you live in an urban area? 4) Hyoshil (UK): Thanks for your friendship comment, if I were you, probably, I would lather my body in the en suite bathroom, and sneak to the family bathroom to take a shower. Best wishes to all, james.
