A thousand words to say good-bye
A thousand words to say good-bye
by Jin Lu
There are a thousand words to say good-bye
But I can choose none
Snow is white and dark is my hair
And I see something’s there
There falls a snow on my land
As winter comes and autumn’s gone
There’s a name on my Chinese comb
It’s my black hair and my dreamed home
My name, my tongue and my home
Your name, your tongue and your home
I sleep and wake with that along
I read and write them all night long
They call my name and hear my chant
Outside the sky, the sea and my land
They are a thousand eyes in the air
Shining and singing, to see and to share
There are a thousand words to say good-bye
But I can choose none
Because there’s always more to come
Than what’s been read and what we’ve sung.

Hi Lu! Amazing posts and inventive blogger by all means. I’d like to thank you for your labor of love. Nuala is absolutely right about collocations, you know. On the other hand, in my opinion, you shouldn’t be afraid to make mistakes on your own way of knitting words. For example, rather famous BBC radio presenter features inventing new sharp expressions all the way. People do like it! Be yourself, I wish you all the best!
i love winter, because i love snow,i think snow stands for love, silent and so on
Keep on writing, Jin Lu. You have s unique writing style! Good luck with your study. Take care. Cheers, Shirley
Hi Jin Lu Ohhhh, it is so sad that you finished your blogging month. It was a really good month, I enjoyed reading your blogs and commented when I had time. Your good bye poem is excellent. This explains how good your english is. I like poetry but writing poems in english is out of question for me as my english is not that strong. I wish you best of luck with your mew course and hopefully I will see your comments here. Kind Regards
Hi JIN LU!You have wonderfuly gave me the insight and understanding to that old chinese culture with its delicacy daintiness and ancient roots on the one site and open attitude to the new world on the other. Now again I can walk with more or less pain read books in Slovak Czech or English having the same pleasure. And I have never stopped to paint... If I ever wished to have a stone tomb there would have been writen...there´s always more to come than what´s been read and what we´ve sung... the epitaf. You may achieve everything in your life!
See you around, Jin Lu. You have done a awesome job. James
