Slap!Slap!!
You have the right to slap me for being late here.:)
Welcome you all to my world for one month.I am not giving you a lot of promises but I am sure I am gonna enjoy this month with blogging and your valuable comments.
Now let me introduce myself.I did my Computer Science Engg in Kerala,a state in India and I worked as a Software Engineer for more than one year.Soon I realized that I was not born to be a software engineer for the whole life where I can do nothing but coding. As I prefer human interaction to computer interaction I quit my job.Now I am preparing for Bank jobs where I can interact with public and also I can manage people working with me.This month is full of bank exams for me but I will be here for sure.
Now a special hi to my teacher Kieran :)
From my childhood I have always been a naughty student :), who doesn't do homeworks regularly and who gets punishment from teacher often for talking in class. But I always managed to get good marks and my teachers like me.Here also I guess at the end of this month I will be your good student :)
How I am here ?
Two months before one fine morning I decided that I will learn to speak English fluently.I searched in Google and my search ended up in this site.Just after 10 minutes I was sending a mail to bbc to get a chance to be the blogger of the month. After 2 months my dream came true. But unfortunately now I am in a hostel and I don't have a computer here.So I have to write from Internet cafe(Rs.30/- per hour).Anyway thats all for now.
Your comments are valuable to me and it will keep me going. In my next post, I will come up with a lot of interesting things.Just for you!!
Signing off,
Asha

Hi Asha, A big welcome. I belongs to north India. I work in one of the prestiges, Central Govt. Institues, imparting computer education both Software & Hardware. Some of my collegues having very long names, belongs to Kerala State. Your name is found in north India very commonly. In fact, I was guessing that you are north Indian. what is your full name? It is my long-standing desire to visit south India to know more about culture. Have a nice day. Bye
Hello.. Asha.. I am sure you will be a good blogger..your country is very facinating and many stories are told about. its your turn to tell yours own..I expect thet you put a lot of pectures.. and told us your real life. thanks.
Hello, Asha. I'm glad that this July is going to be the month of India :) Here, in Ukraine, a lot of people like Indian movies; my mom watches them almost every Friday. And I rememeber that in my childhood we even went to cinema to watch these movies. However now our cinemas don't show such films, except of "Slumdog Millionaire", which I didn't really admire. But anyway the picture of India is always bright, sunny and colorful in my mind. And I hope that your entries will be the same. Loking forward to hear from you some interesting stories.
Hello Asha, I am Mohammed from Oman. I live in Sur which is in the south east of the Sultanate. It is a coastal city. Concerning slapping, I am certain that you are joking. Of course you are late but I am sure you have your reasons. As you said, now you don't have a computer in order to access to the internet. Also, you are preparing yourself for several bank exams to have a job there. Here in my country ,Oman, especially in Sur where I live, the weather is rather humid and quiet hot. What about the weather in Kerella? Is it rainy or sunny? I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. All the best Mohammed
Hi, Asha! Better late than never! I think all of us will welcome you with a crash of applause instead of slap. From your working experience, I can tell that you must be a decisive girl. Once you found that the job was not suitable for you, you took the bull by the horns and quit your dead end job without hesitation. If it were me to face such a challenge, I would really have no idea of whether being able to grasp the nettle or not. Good luck in your new job!
Hello Asha! Better late than never but anyway you are welcome. Everyone knows about India as a melting pot of multicultural as well as controversial country but it’s not an easy task to depict meaning of those words in particular. You have a unique opportunity to draw the picture. I’m looking forward to your posts.
Hi and nice to meet you Asha! I hope you enjoy time as a blogger and I wish you good luck with your exams :-). See ya, Ana Paula.
Big welcome Asha! I'm Jiae from South Korea and I was a last month blogger. I want to congratulate you on getting the fantastic opportunity to write your blog. I'm sure you'll have a great time with all of us. I don't kwnow much about India. please get me out of the ingnorance. I can imagine that working as a software engineer is challenging. Good luck with your bank exams. I think being busy can be stressful, but sometiems it gives us adrenaline rush making us more energetic about what we do. Let me borrow some space for thanking all of you for the comments you guys made on my last few blog entries. I'm pleased you had a good time with me. see you all on the Asha's blog.
Hi Asha, nice to see you here. Programms about India are the most often watched by me. I was talking all the time about India, and my colegues gave me india guide for my birthday :), so I know a little about your country, but with pleasure I will read from you... have a nice night:)
Hi, Asha! Nice to meet you! I'm sure we're going to enjoy your blogging. I've read and seen on TV many things about India, but I've never had the opportunity to hear from a local. Now it's the time! May we have a month of mutual learning. Looking forward to your next entries.
Hi Asha, a massive welcome heartily! I must confess that I don't know your county very well, but you've already made me so thirsty for learning about your country and your life, too. It sounds you’re very courageous, and have a dogged determination to pursue your favourite job. Wish you to have a stroke of luck with coming the exams of banking work. About the naughtiness in your school hood, I was same, too. In my teachers view, I am a never-ending chatterbox, rebellious child. Funnily enough, my son seems to take after me. Whenever he’s mischievous, and answers me back I tend to take a deep breathe and think of this quotation before I decide what to do or how to react to his cheekiness - if you obey all the rules you miss the all fun! By the way, if you don’t mind, could you tell me why you are staying in a hostel? Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Hi Asha, From the bottom of my heart I wish you welcome here as blogger. Also a good luck for your exams.Probably, you learn something about letter of acreditive?

Hi Asha, Welcome. I am living your neighboring state. Guess and tell me where I am. You must write your state and culture of the Malayalis. I think you are a Keralite. Though I am living your neighboring state, I have been your state only few times. I have visited Trivandram thrice. I went Thekkady many times. One of the places I like very much. You can write the tourist places of Kerala and how the climatic conditions attract the tourists. How is the monsoon this year in your state? Is it true that you received the rain fall below average? I went Kuttralam falls last Sunday. Compared to previous years the water flow from the falls was not much. People said that since monsoon failed in Kerala the season was not good in Kuttralam.
Asha, I am felt good reading you blog, unfortunately you got bored being a computer engineering, that is my professional nowaday, actually i am working with system development. In sum, my understanding is do what make you feel happy every day. Moreover, earn money will be easier. Welcome. TPG
Hi Asha, It is so nice to hear from you:)I hope you will tell us a lot of interesting things about India..Good luck:)
Hi Asha, A very warm welcome to you on the blog. India is a country of very rich values and cultures, deep in my heart I have great respect for that. I hope you will give more inner pictures and views about your country. The decission about quitting your job was very courageous. Being in the banking field you could co-relate with computer and the public. How are the hostels there? Do write about the education, I guess it's the best. Where is your family, Oh, I am loading you with the questions, so best of luck with your banking exam. And I am sure that being late doesn't deserve you a slap, but we netizens are very hospitable; so HAPPY Blogging My dear!!! Take care and best regards.
Welcome Asha! Your first blog is very interesting and hopefully your next coming up blog will be the same. I admire you for being so brave to change your career. Most often people carry on working even though they don’t like their jobs. It is not easy to make such decisions. You did the right thing to start a new job. Just earning money is not enough, you have to enjoy your job too. Having a job of your interest is very important as it can not only affect your life but also your family life. I congratulate you and wish you best of luck with your new job. You said that your teachers like you despite the fact that you are naughty. In my opinion, teachers seem to know who are capable students and who will do well in spite of the students being naughty. The most important issue for teachers is that students learn and do well in their education and if a child is academically good then there is nothing wrong with being naughty. Your English is excellent. You convey your message very clearly which is the main thing in speaking any language. Hopefully, I will learn more about India through your blog. Enjoy this month with us. Looking forward to your next blog. Take care
HI Asha, I really wish you on getting the opportunity to write your blog.I am looking forwared to see your blog for the whole month.Nice meeting you here I have been to palghat twice and cochin once I certainly say that its one of the best places in the world. All the best for your Exams asha god bless you. tamilnadu
Hi Ahsa, My hearty welcomes to you for being this month student blogger and good to know you are from god’s own country ;-). It is nice to know that you also a software engineer like me. To be noted I also hate being coder by simply sitting in front of the computer and spending most of our life time virtually interacting with machines. You know what, I am also preparing for most of the competitive exams like CAT ,GMAT and civil service preliminary exams, and last year I had written many exams but I flunked in all the exams. So the lesson learnt is I should put more efforts to increase the chance of success rate to clear the exams this year. However, I have time constraint to balance among work, exam and personal life; it is quite hectic and needs to manage the time efficiently. Hope you have riot of time writing blogs and reading comments here. I look forward to hearing from you more in this month, especially a column for discussion on movies if you find it interesting.
Your writing style is very good and it does not give indication that you are in learning process. The other factor which I like in your blog is simplicity. Good Luck
