Time to unwind! (1)
Hi Rachel,
Happy birthday to you. The video is fascinating and I watched it many times. It made my day. Actually, you are very lucky to have birthday presents and a breakfast on bed.Unfortunately, all what I got on my birthday is a cup of black Mocca coffee to help me jump out of my bed and start a new day of busy work. Nowadays, my mother is too busy to make a delicious birthday cake as she used to do many years before. Life is unfair, isn't it?!!!! Don't be sad. My father bought me a new trousers which I can consider it as a good compensation.
Now, Rachel, I will give you a virtual birthday present. I realised that you have to go to work every day and I don't you know if you have a weekly dayoff or, as me, not. I want to take with you a "virtual" picnic in one of the most significant places in Cairo, just to change the rhythm of life and avoid being another Jack. It's only 10 minuits far from the Citadel.
It's Al- Azhar park.
Well........it's not differant from parks in UK, but I hope that the images below will convince you to visit this park when you decide to visit Egypt.
Now, use your emagination and enjoy these wonderful sceneries.

Hi Muhammad The pictures are absolutely marvlous. I am curious to if all these pictures are taken in Egypt. I assume some pictures are taken in Egypt but in other pictures there is a lot of greenery. I was wondering if those pictures are also from Egypt. I really want to visit Egypt now. The pictures are fantastic. I really like palm trees and Middel seem to have them a lot. Once when I was coming to UK, we had to stay in Abudahby for a couple of days and it was really lovely. We went out and went a shoping centre but on the way to the shopping centre we saw some beautiful places. Most importantly, enjoyed the food there. We could go to any resturant and eat whatever we wanted. In the UK it very difficult for us Muslim to eat out due to "halal meat" being not available and I don't like vegetarian dishes. So it was really amazing to go out and eat whatever we want. In those days digital cameras were not very common so we had the still camera and took lots of pictures. When we arrived in the UK, I was really looking forward to develop the pictures and guess what happened? None of the pictures turn out right. I was really disoppointed and frustrated. I wish we had digital cameras. Since that one visit I keep thinking about visiting other places in Middle East but got the chance to go there due busy routine here. I am keeping my hopes high and one I will hopefully visit some nice places in Middle East. After seeing these pictures Egypt will be on top of my list. Looking forward to see some more amazing pictures. Take care Rabail UK
These pictures are so fascinating. I wonder where they taken. I've been dreaming of going abroad for several years, now for the wonderful scenes sake, I have to go there! Thank you. hehe.
Hi Mohammad My message regarding your pictures is full of mistakes and I have also omitted several words. I was annoyed by reading. I hope you understand what I am talking about. You know why that happaned? It is because I was working at the reception and as soon as I would start writing the message the phone would ring. After attending the phone I would forget what I was writning. Another reason is that the reception I work at is just in front of the main door and people come and go, so you can be distracted easily. I have learnt my lesson, I am not going to write messages while working at the reception. From now on I will just read a newspaper or something. Anyway your new pictures are also fantastic. I absolutly loved the pictures with sun setting. Looking forward to your new entry. Rabail UK
