hello again : FRUSTATIONS???? JA JA
Hi guys, thanks for your cheers ¡¡¡¡ I feel much better, well I was thinking the next topic what can I share with you and I realize that if there is something in my life that is called as a "frustation" is that I always wanted to sing in a theatre in my city jejej it maybe sounds funny but I always wish that.
Well once I went to a "karaoke" with my friends ( if you arrive here in Lima in San Borja which is a district you will find many karaokes), so the experience was unbelievable there you see few people who are talking or drinking or only having a conversation and on the other hand you will see people (like me) who want to sing any song to feel free and happy obviously at the same time feel enjoying the moment.
So but that`s the only experience that I have (karaokes), but when I was young about 17 my sister and I met some friends who had a group where they played good music so they invited to us to participate in the chorus.
Imagine¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ I felt embarrased cause I`m afraid of singing in front of people but then they were my friends and every saturday we went to practice some new music.
But the anecdote was that one day my friend told me to practice a list of songs and I thought ok just for fun and one day told me: "We are going to sing at the school " OH MY GODDDDDDDDD I felt nervous and I said ok so? he said that I had to be prepared jajajajaj.
Do you know what I did? mmmmm I quite because I love to sing but not in front of the crowd well so that`s why I always think that I wish I could sing without fearings¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ and feel like a start jejejej
SOmeday I will return to karaokes to do that you know that a theraphy for me,when I feel blue it`s to sing and suddenly my problems went out
Pd: I dedicate a song if you listen these days :"Stand by your side"(Celine Dion ) amazing¡¡¡¡¡
See you, by the way tell me your "frustations"
Lily

Hi Lily, are you better?. Fustrations, good topic. Reading you I can feel that we have a hiden rock star in front of us. I can imagine you singing at the top of the wonderful mountains you have showed us with your arms opened and melting the snow with your warm melodies. Please don't close the month without show us some more mountains, it are splendid. See you, Toni
Hi Lily!!! I'm glad to know you've recovered soon! I understand you, because i also have such a phobia "singing in front of a huge crowd of people". Honestly, i like singing, and i do it everytime when i'm alone. for example in the bath))) Yeah, maybe it sounds strange, but i suppose some people can understand me))) Also i think you're lucky, if you have such a mehtod of destroying the problems:you just return to karaoke. As for me,i just start to dance, even if i'm tired. And you know it helps...after that i feel much much better! Thanks for this post. p.s. we were missing you=)

Hi Lily, it's teacher Sarah here. Ha ha, I have a picture in my head of you singing with your friend's band! I'm sure you were really bubbly and enthusiastic. I bet you're a great singer too, given that you'd like to sing in the theatre! I like singing as well - it gets rid of the blues. I sing with a group of people in the local church choir every Friday night. Admittedly, they are all at least 30 years older than me, but we still have a good laugh, albeit quite a sedate one (you can't tell too many ribald jokes just in case one of the nonagenarians has a heart attack). Frustrations...hmmm. I don't have any frustrations at the moment, other than trying to move my suitcase, which weighs in at 36 kilos! It's full of books, you see. Oh well, hopefully when I go back to England I will have acquired some muscles! Keep singing, and hope to hear from you soon. Sarah
Hello Lily! Although I sing in the shower and whistle when I am on the bus, I do not really karaoke. Handling unexpected events and people who do not understand me really frustrate me. Are you going to a party on Shrove Tuesday? Do you celebrate Carnival in Peru? Good week!!
Hello Lily, very interesting post indeed and I hope you are feeling better now. Speaking of singing infront of the crowd, I would suggest you that, to overcome your shyness and nervousness, it's the best way not to think too much and close your eyes when you kick start to sing a song. It wouldn't be long before you will start feeling confident and your wish to sing like a star will come to reality. With best wishes, Naheed
Hi Lily! People here also enjoy karaoke places. However, I prefer to sing in my bathroom :-). See ya, Ana Paula.

Hello Lily, Singing is a kind of heeling process and it helps you to liberate your soul of pressure.Just concentrate on what you feel and will forget about frustration, even in front of audience. It sounds easy but is worth trying. Keep going, wishing you good luck.
Hi,I'm a Chinese and I'm happy to read your blog.I'm new here and my english is so so.I don't understand the meaning of"frustation".In my view,it means a happy thing, right? And I know the karaokes ,too.I often sing my favorite songs there together with my friends. But we call it"KTV".So when we want to go there to sing songs ,we'll say"Let's K songs!"
Hi Lily. You looks like a famous singer. You should share your singing skills with the world more frequently. I also like singing and listening songs when I'm ironing. I feel like a star for my only audience- my two little dogs.
Hi Lily, I've just listened to " stand by your side". It's a great song, I like that very much. I didn't know about this song. I'm pretty sure I'll listen to it very often this week ;-) Hope you'll be able to sing more than ever this year ! See you soon on your blog. I'll try to read your news every day. Today was my first touch with BBC's blog. It's too cool to discover people's life from all over the world. Take care, Guillaume
Singing against frustration. Yes, It is a good idea. I can't sing at all but I like to do it. I listen good music and sing in my car when I am alone. Many people think it this way, so I can see young people in the car to sing. Sometimes it is funny, because I can see a car in the traffic jam, hear a loud music from it and see the driver to gawp without hearing his/her voice. It is sure, I am not frustrate any more.
Hi Lily, i'm glad to read your topic, it is nice and i think you'd continue singing, it is good for you.i like singing even i can compose my own songs. If you like i'll give you my song in youtobe
Hello,Lily!I am not good at singing, though I like sing songs,my friends always laugh at me when I sing in KTv, they said I was crying,it really made me frustration, but when I was alone I can sing well. so I think I can sing good songs ,but not in front of others.
Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
