Welcome 2009!!!

May the world be as paeceful and calm as me. It's a wish from this pigeon.

It's been great to catch up with you all again. I should say Thank You to BBC LE for that. May this global community of learners grow bigger and bigger and may there be peace and prosperity. May God bless every heart happiness and satisfaction 'cause when the inner self is happy and satisfied we are able to see the world with a better perspective and we can think better. So everyone, be happy and think positive, do your best to achieve your goals and have faith in God 'cause He is always up there to help you. Never lose your hope as everything happens for a reason and it happens when its time is written to happen.

What are your hopes and expectations for the up coming year? Have you made any resolutions? As for me, my hope for 2009 is to see a better world. I came across an interesting New Year resolution by Dima on the Staff blog which says that his New Year resolution is that he will stop making New Year resloutions and he feels he would be good at it:-)

According to the Islamic lunar calendar, the new year 1430 began on 30th December so New Year wishes from Islamic year too.

It was good to see all the teachers again but this time it was few I hope everything is well with all those who didn't show up this time. Dear Jo, best wishes for your new home, may you get lots of happiness:-). My best wishes are for all my blogmates and for those who couldn't participate in the open blog for some reasons. I'm very very thankful to all those lovely friends who never forget us to write their kind comments and make our day.

Marianna, it's been always good to see your comments. I have always loved to hear from you and the share of your word. Thank you! I hope you will love this picture of a pigeon standing on one foot or better say it is doing bird yoga:-).

James, thank you for your comments and your interesting as well as informative posts.

Fillipo, thank you for your nice comments and best New Year wishes to you.

Ana, your pomegranate tree is lovely. You are so lucky that you can eat your home grown pomegranates.

Anita, your London diary was great. My mum and sister only saw Trafalgar square and Oxford Street in London and some shopping places. Before going to London, they went to Lisbon and another place they visited called 'Fatima'.

Leila, best wishes to you for 2009 and thank you for your comments.

Cris, I hope you will not be too busy in cooking. Good luck!

Satya, let's wish together that may there be peace between our countries. When it come to peace and prosperity we are all one!

Thank you everyone and I'm so sorry if I couldn't mention anyone's name. The best part of this blogging is your comments so keep writing......

I call this ray 'Hope' and a little light in the dark is a hope that you can find your way through it. So hope for the new year is just like this ray of the sun.

Happy New Year!

Naheed

Comments

Dear Naheed! I absolutely loved each word you devoted us in this last post. Since the beginning it had been so, as I registerred comments with your, then uncommon name for me. I liked Dima´s clever resolution too, You made me to smile at the remark of Pigeon´s yoga but I started to do some useful training for my spine regularly, which I call torture. You are not far away as long as your pigeon waits for me each day. Be Happy and all wishes may have come true!

Happy new year to you, Naheed, and Happy Islamic lunar new year of 1430. Best wishes, and see you around, James.

Dear Naheed, You wrote wise words and I totally agree with you. The photo of the little ray is lovely. I always see the touch of God everytime I see one of them inside my flat. It was wonderful to blog with you. Happy 1430 for you and all the others muslims. Best wishes. See you soon, Cris

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
