Even it is a trivia, it could be the gold

Renata (from Romania) said: “The most people from Romania are Christians so we celebrate Christmas every year three days.” So I reckon, in most 2C’s (Cathedral and Christian) Nation, it is still a holiday today. I wonder if there is/are someone on duty of BBCLE team. If the answer is negative, all comments would stay a little longer somewhere in the computer, that because the comments by readers would be checked by BBCLE team before it is published.
Satya (India) said he had bath after getting up at 11:00 am, it means that he take a bath after getting up, while Taiwanese almost take a shower before going on bed. Satya used the word “bath” instead of “shower” which means he immersed his body in a tube. The word “bath” reminds me of an experience of my English learning, As a beginner, I didn’t realize there is a difference between both and shower, the first word I learnt of washing my body daily is “bath” which the school text book stated and my junior high school teacher taught, I used the word “bath” to describe my daily trivia many and many times, until one day, someone asked me:“Do you have a bath or a shower every day? “I totally confused and embarrassed at that moment, because I didn’t know the meaning of the word “shower”. And the friend asked me:” Do you put your body into a tube?” I said:” No, I don’t.” He said:” Ok, I got it.” I was still bewildered until I checked the dictionary. In Chinese, we don’t distinguish bath and shower in oral speaking. Henceforward, as a non-native speaker of English, I always remind myself the culture difference for fear of speaking something wrong.
Cris (Argentina) said she brushes her teeth 4 times a day, a quick wash after getting up, and 3 other brushing after 3 meals a day. And she has 2 tea time a day, one at work around 15:30 and the other at home around 17:00. I got a question in my mind: “As a dentist like Andri (a student blogger from Brazil), how many times a day does she brush her teeth? And why is that? “
Reading the life trivia from different culture has widened my eyes. So I say:” Trivia could be the gold.”

Hi James, I'm amazed at your English skills. You're improving everyday. As for the words "bath" and "shower", though we have those words in Spanish we tend to use "bath" generally speaking, referring the two meanings. My dentist told me that we have to brush our teeth after each important meal. But the most deeply brush must be done after dinner (before going to bed) using also sticks and floss for a complete cleaning. See you doc, Cris
