It is a must.
Hello there,
….. ….. ….. To learn from a variety of cultures is a must
Today is the nativity of Jesus. As I leant that Jesus’ actual birthday may not be at December 25, it could be chose by Rome to match with their festivals or with the winter solstice. People in Taiwan got to work today.
I wrote my daily routine yesterday, and read many interesting things through the comments.
Cristina (from Buenos Aires, Argentina) said she brushes her teeth after having breakfast, while I thought that brush teeth before breakfast is nature and right, it was an amazing thing to me to hear that. I never thought that it could be healthier after eating than before it. Incidentally, I brush teeth twice a day which are after getting up in the morning and before going on bed at night.
Cristina said that she has lunch with a sandwich prepared by her. It is a healthier way of life. The condition of being urbanized in 2 decades in Taiwan, Eating-Out habit for lunch is more common than ever. However, due to economic recession this year, people like better to have lunch prepared by them. It can save money, and it is healthier as well.
Cristina has dinner at 21:00, and I have dinner at 18:30, it’s quite different. If I eat dinner at 21:00, I would be starving around 18:30 unless I have a Tea-time in the afternoon.
Which it means that the Tea-time is not certainly suitable to every country,
Cristina has almost 5 hours at home before dinner; it is a good arrangement for an office lady to take care of both work and family,
Ahmed (from United Arab Emirates) said that there is no holiday today in UAE, but they also celebrate Christmas. The UAE is an Islam; I am impressed by their Christmas celebration.
Best wishes,
James Wu (Wu Zhih Cheng), Taiwan

Hi James, I agree with you that learning from other cultures is a very interesting thing. By the way I brush my teeth not only in the morning (after having breakfast) but after lunch and after dinner as well. But I have a quick wash on my teeth after getting up (before having breakfast). I forgot to say that I have 2 tea time. One at work around 15:30 and the other at home around 17:00. I also heard that Jesus had been born in March but Catholics celebrate it on December 25th because they were used to celebrate that day another festivity. Thank you for your blog James. See you, Cris
Greetings from Romania, James! The most people from Romania are christians so we celebrate Christmas every year three days. The former two are days off by law and we don't go to work.It has been snowing on the X-mas' Eve to our joy,in the north-east of the country, where I live.:-)This time we visit our relatives, friends, we send each other greetings via postcards, emails or SMS on the cell phones, we listen to carols, we keep our traditions, in one word we enjoy our spare time. Thank you for your posts, daily routine, always we have something to learn from each other. From Romania I wish you and your beloved ones, good health, peace, harmony and all the best. :-)
Hello! Excuse me for my bad English, which may remember you a bark of jealous little dog. I think that Cris’s day schedule is more healthy than Jame’s (especially the teeth brushing and sandwiches, except the comparatively late dinner). Good by. Many happy days to you booth!

Hi James! I have dinner earlier than Cris. We usually have dinner around 7:00 pm in my house. I usually have a coffee at 4:00 pm. As for me, I drink tea in the morning. I always shower as soon I get home from work, therefore, before dinner. About brushing my teeth, I usually brush them 3 or 4 times per day and I floss them before going to bed.
Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
