Hello Everybody!
How are you doing? I guess you´re all busy with the preparations to Christmas.
Oh I´m sorry. I couldn´t blog these days because I had a very busy week. Half of the employees in the company that I work got the sack this month. This situation is the result of the international crises that we´re facing nowadays. The ones that last, including me, had to work hard to keep up with their routines. Now the company activities are stopped and we are all on holidays for 20 days.
Anyway, it´s 9:14 pm and my sister and my mum are outside putting fairy ligths on the pomogranate tree. It drizzled in the very beginning of the evening and now the night is very fresh. I´ve just decorated our Christmas tree. I think it needs more baubels. Here is a picture:

Ewa, thanks for telling me about your lovely Christmas Eve. I hope one day you could come to Brazil and enjoy the our hot weather :-).
James, I loved the picture that show people doing Kong-Fu moviments. I´m totally fascinated by martial arts.
Naheed, your full moon pictures are stunning :-).
Carmen, I´m enjoying the book very much indeed. It´s a good book for this time of the year :-).
Anita, I got itchy feet when I saw your pictures. They are beautiful as usual.
Adri, are you already in the villa? I hope we can talk soon :-).
Oh my sister is caling me. I guess she wants some help with the fairy lights.
Talk to you all soon,
Ana Paula.

Hi Ana! The economic trouble is doomed all over the world and many people are facing the darkest Christmas ever and an uncertain future for decades. But I believe that there are some hopes to help us get through this difficulty. So,let's be optimistic and talk about books.I'd love to recommend a book called "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. The story starts with a girl called Susie who got murdered by a neighbour. It is very compelling but at the same time beautiful. My recommendation is a Christmas present for you from me and I hope you like it.i wish you the best best luck in your university and see you sometime again.A big hug your family and you from my son and me!XX
Hi Ana,How long did it take of you to write this gorgeous entry? You are always diligent and do the good jobs. Hope you are all ok in all aspects.Looking forward your next entry. Best wishes, J.
Hi A.Paula, I'm sorry to hear about the downsizing of your Company. Thank God you're on holiday now and you can get over your hard exams. By the way, your tree is lovely and cozy. See you around, Cris
Hey up Ana Paula! The same goes over here as well. Several companies are currently making many workers redundant. The temporary workers are the people who mainly suffer from this downsizing. Even some open-ended workers lost their job as well and it does not bode well for the future because they say it will be a long crisis. We will definitely have to stay hard!! Anyway, I am very happy for you Ana Paula! On a bright note, I have already decorated my Christmas tree and I cannot wait to cook some tidbits. Merry Christmas to your and your beloved!!
