A chicken leg, is it too much?

Topic:
Hello there,

Today is a cloudy and fine day, I took a day leave to do a health examine in a hospital. It lasted 4 hours form 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It cost around $277.77 GBP (pound) that is paid by the Government.

The health-examine is now popular in Taiwan, and it has popped up to become a hot business. Do you know how hot is the health-examine in Taiwan? It could be a tour itinerary, The tourists come to Taiwan to do only one thing that is Health-Examine. There was an advertisement stated: “Healthy live is better than ill long live.” People do care their health nowadays. Nevertheless, there is another point of view:” People are more afraid of dying than ever”.

A public servant or someone says a public officer, has a yearly welfare to do a health-examine that the Government offers, the amount of money is at least $69.289 GBP (pound) that it depends on the ranking. It is welfare though, to my colleague, two-thirds escaped from Health examine. In my opinion, people are often timid to face their bodily collapse.

There was nutritional course in today’s program; a nutritionist asked me about what did I usually eat for 3 meals daily? I told her all the details, including what in it that a lunch box I ate is? She said: “Mr. Wu, it’s too many of you to eat such a big chicken leg for a lunch? Too much meat, three small slices of meat could be enough”. Wow..... what can I say that?

Let me show you a photo of the chicken leg which I ate for lunch.

Merry Christmas, Chicken leg.

Best wishes, and healthy live.
James Wu (Wu Zhih Cheng), Taiwan.

Comments

Hi Wu… I think that it is a normal meal here in Colombia and sometimes there are a lot of people that use to eat more (for example the meal that you show us in the picture plus soap, a lot of food I think), but anyway I think that one of the more important stuff in the live is be healthy and that is a think everyday more difficult because the overpopulation and the demand of it. Ok guy try to be healthy and enjoy the time. Manuel

Thanks for all your contributions. This blog has now closed and can no longer accept new comments.
